I came across the reference to this a while back and only just now got around to using it. I really like Bianca's pose in this. It look peaceful yet still sexy.

After the last piece I felt like doing another nude.Water is not my strong point, but I try. You probably can't see it but she does have a pointy ear.You can see the reference here.

I felt like trying a nude and came across the reference for this on DeviantArt. I've added some brightness and contrast to the original image, I found it to be a little on the dull side. I've intentionally left this one rough so you can tell something's been done. I pulled the hair back from her face and created elfish ears and changed the hair colour. Other then that, I left the rest the same.

I love this little fella, he's so cute. As adults tube-nosed fruit bats have very little fur.You can read more about this little guy here. The reference image was taken from the Tolga Bat Hospital facebook page.

Now these colours I love, they are me. If I could get away with it, I'd do my bedroom in these colours, but, I rent so that's out. I got bored with this one towards the end and put it off to work on Passion. I only had the central petal to complete and managed to hold enough interest to complete this piece. I was going to left the background black, but then I couldn't tell where the flower started and ended so I changed it to a dark smoky blue. I think it looks better. Now I must find something else to work on.

I've had the reference to this one sitting on my computer for a over a year now. I felt like a break from the flower I was currently doing and decided to work on this one for a while. This was pretty much a quicky from me. Once started it only took two days to complete.

I love this mix of colours, they work so well together that I could resist painting this piece. After my last painting "Frilly Daylily" doing this one was quiet relaxing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was suggested to me that I upload some of the steps, so people could see it coming together. I took 12 snapshots of this, 13 if you count the background, but I'm not uploading them all.

The colours attracted me to this one. I should have thought more about it before starting it. All those frilly bits, really made me hand sore and by the end I was glad to see the bad of it.

This is a painting I did of my mum's cat, Elliot. He was only 8 months old and had to be put to sleep suddenly (long story). I wanted to paint him for mum so she'd have something other then photo's to remember him by.

It's been a while since I've painted anything. I haven't really been in mood so I decided to pull my finger out and do something about it. There isn't much to this piece, but at least it's a start and has me in the mood to paint again.

I've had the photo of this one sitting on my computer for some time. I had been planning to paint this with Acrylics but never got around to it. I came across it, once again while looking for something to paint and decided it was about time I used it. There wasn't a storm coming in the reference image, but I decided the colours looked great with the red of the sails and kept it.

I have done this one before, but with Acrylics. The original didn't have the boat on the sand. I was told it needed something there, so bored one night I decided to reproduce it and add the boat. At first the boat was blue and I thought that's great, a blue boat next to blue water, so I change it to bright orange.

Neytiri and Jake, sleeping, the morning after they have mated. I got a little bored with this one. It doesn't have the pretty colours in it that first attracted me to these pieces. I decided that if they had really mated, Neytiri wouldn't have her beaded necklace on, so I've left it out. I'm sure Jake would have removed it anyway. It's rough but a friend told me "rough ends up appropriately stylised sometimes.". You can see the reference here
